Hello and welcome to my final blog post!
Today’s blog will feature my final Digital Media Kit on Missouri State Universities Bill and Lucille Magers Family Health and Wellness Center.
As students in Com 309, we were to create rough drafts of our designated Missouri State club or organization pages all the way through the semester. The digital media kit includes a news release, fact sheet, bio, infographic, images and patient testimonials.
I chose Magers Health and Wellness Center to feature because I feel as though it’s a huge amenity of our university that not very many people access or know about. Sure, some students might know they can get free flu shots here but do they know if they get Strep throat they can be seen and treated with prescription antibiotics for free or low cost? If the student doesn’t have insurance, they can even defer the payments to their account and pay later. This is amazing folks!
Not to mention, the doctors and staff are extremely friendly and knowledgable and you can get out of their quick with little wait time!
Overall, with COVID19 impacts still occurring, I found it important to focus on what our university can offer the community and it’s students during this trying time. Magers has remained open for regular routine doctor visits all while implementing safe and preventative operating procedures.
Magers Health is a vital aspect to our community here in Springfield and I can’t wait for you to learn more about it through my digital media kit!
Thanks!!
